The practice

Plain advice first. Litigation only when it is worth it.

Most people who walk into a chamber have already been told their case is strong. You will be told where it is weak — at the first meeting, before any fee is settled, while you can still decide whether to fight at all.

Where a matter can be closed by a well-drafted notice or a corrected entry in the revenue record, that is said plainly rather than turned into years of hearings. Where it must be fought, it is fought properly: pleadings drawn with care, evidence prepared before the date, and arguments that answer the court's real question.

The chamber also drafts and negotiates the agreements that keep disputes out of court altogether — sale and lease, partnership and shareholding, service contracts — including where an arrangement must satisfy both the general law and Shariah.

“Indeed, Allah commands you to render trusts to whom they are due, and when you judge between people, to judge with justice.”

The Holy Qurʾān · Sūrah an-Nisāʾ 4 : 58

Family matters

Dissolution and khula, dower and maintenance, custody and guardianship, before the Family Court.

Corporate & taxation

Company formation, tax notices and appeals, and commercial advice for businesses and professionals.

★★★★★
Clear advice from the first meeting. We were told where the case was weak before any fee was discussed, which is rare.

They took my brother’s pre-arrest bail the same week. I was told, plainly, what the court would ask and what not to expect. No drama, just the work.

Bohat pareshan thi, ghar walon ka pressure bhi tha. Unhon ne seedhi baat ki — kaunse papers chahiye, kitna time lagega. Khula ho gaya aur mahana bhi fix ho gaya.

Asked them to check the title before I paid. The mutation was wrong. They caught it, got the record corrected, and I bought with my eyes open.

The department had already decided I was finished. The chamber prepared the appeal properly and I was reinstated, with the back benefits that were due.

The other side wanted years in court. The contract had an arbitration clause and they used it. We sat, we argued, we settled in months. That is what I hired them for.

A detention that should never have happened. The writ was drafted overnight and we were in the High Court the next morning. I still remember how quietly they worked.

Tax wala notice aa gaya tha, panic ho raha tha. Inhone reply draft kiya, hearing pe sath gaye. Notice band, koi extra dhamki nahi. Shukar hai time se aa gaye.

A neighbour started building on the plot. Injunction the same week, then the suit. They kept saying bring the fard, bring the deed — and that is what won it.

What you can expect

Three things this chamber commits to

01

You hear the weaknesses first

An honest assessment at the first meeting, including when the honest answer is that the case should not be filed.

02

The fee is settled in advance

Agreed before work begins. Court fees, process fees and stamps are billed at cost, with the receipts handed to you.

03

You can follow your own case

A portal login shows your hearing dates and progress, and lets you ask a question — in writing or as a voice message — without telephoning.

The charter of the judiciary

The standard this chamber is measured against

“Treat people as equals in your countenance, in your justice, and in where you seat them — so that the powerful may not hope for your partiality, nor the weak despair of your fairness.”

From the letter of Sayyidunā ʿUmar ibn al-Khaṭṭāb (may Allah be pleased with him) to Abū Mūsā al-Ashʿarī on the office of the judge — narrated by al-Mubarrad in al-Kāmil, and long called the constitution of the judiciary.

الْبَيِّنَةُ عَلَى مَنِ ادَّعَى وَالْيَمِينُ عَلَى مَنْ أَنْكَرَ

“The proof lies upon the one who claims, and the oath upon the one who denies.”

فَإِنَّ الْقَضَاءَ فَرِيضَةٌ مُحْكَمَةٌ وَسُنَّةٌ مُتَّبَعَةٌ

“Judgement is a binding obligation and a sunnah to be followed.”

A chamber cannot sit in judgement, but it can be held to the same measure: the same care for the client who arrives on foot as for the one who arrives in a car.
